The designed house is intended for a renowned musician in Sri Lanka and is tailored to meet the needs of his extended family within a relatively compact 11-perch land. The architectural approach adopted is purely modern and contemporary, characterized by minimalist design principles that emphasize spatial qualities and progression. The design focuses on creating a sense of simple openness and a harmonious connection with nature. It takes inspiration from the playful characteristics of music, and the form of the house is developed with this in mind. The conceptual name for the house is "Playing Cubes," reflecting the creative and dynamic essence of the design.
